Man God is so good!!!
I cant imagine going through this life without a Father who is always here with us. Its just so incredible the infinite power He has, yet its His dream to be in OUR presence. That fact alone baffles me, and it blows my mind that His one and only son was willing to be sent not only to take our sins but to make His fathers dream a reality. Such an incredible God wants to be with someone who has fallen short, someone who cannot yet comprehend the greatness of His being. Notice I used the word "yet". I am humbled to have come from above, from the seed of His Spirit. In this post I just want to share a small tid bit of what God is doing and teaching me!!! Enjoy and be blessed.
God has been doing awesome things in me over here in Christchurch, NZ. One thing the Lord has been sharing with me, in further depth, is how to go about prophesying over myself and to speak nothing but life and His words over me. So often we practice prophesying over others, but often dont think about ourselves or our families, when speaking into realms and dimensions that deal with life. We have so much authority in Christ. We are seated with Him. Through communion with Him and being in His presence we trade our tattered cloth, for new garments of praise. In His presence we receive a ring of power, because we are sons of the King. Our authority is given by turning our time, affection, attention, mind, will, and emotions toward a Father who wants the best for the kids He has called to be rulers. All of this stems from a love relationship with God! So knowing where you come from, and that you are of the seed of Christ, you can pray in such a way that moves mountains. If we are called to do greater things than Jesus himself, then we need to learn how to walk in a different prayer life. There has got to be a birthing of things in the spirit started by us when we spend time with the Lord. From that place of intimacy, I am learning how to pray and prophesy over myself, my life, and more important, my family, including the one that is to come. I find myself saying scriptures over myself and over my day and am really wanting to know Gods word as if it is inscribed on my heart. I have been speaking life and a full release of God's inheritance over me, my friends, my current family, and my family to come. I am so in awe of how God the Father sees us. My eyes are continually being opened through His word and in worship. Because I am working long days, I have been listening to 7 or 8 hours worth of the Bible on my ipod and a couple hours of worship music as well. Its so true how His word changes us. I feel so built up in Him when I let His word wash over me. I am so grateful for the Holy Spirit who has been revealing to me things in His word. Through new eyes and a continually renewed mind, I am able to pray more strategically and with more understanding. I am just so stoked at what God is doing in me, because you cannot yet release something to others, until it is worked and completed internally in you. God is eternal, therefore outside of time. So He doesnt just see me, but the generations ahead of me and in front of me, and I have been challenged to continually think with a mind like Christ's. He has been teaching me how to pray for my children, grandchildren, etc. Also He has been showing me what needs to come up and out of my family line. These things are known as iniquities! Im so grateful for Jesus' blood that payed for those sins and iniquities. As the Lord works those things up and out of me, more and more of His blessing, His inheritance is able to flow. Less of me more of Him. Wow life has just been amazing becuase of what God is doing in me internally. Its just like in Genesis when the narrator was saying that Joeseph was a rich man, though he was in prison. Why is that? A prisoner? Rich? Its becuase of what God was doing in him, readying him in the undertaking of a whole nation. So why not me? Why cant I be used on a magnitude of that scale. God has been challenging me in asking that very question. In order to do that though there needs to be a revival, a reformation in someone internally before it can be released to others.Also understanding the adminstration and the stewarding aspect of new revelations, and wisdoms from God is vital. During this time in prison, Joeseph was being trained and taugh by the Lord. Right now I am just so in love with the story of Joeseph. I have been praying the blessings, inheritances, gifts and skills Joeseph had, over my family and my family to come. That is something else God has been showing me. Taking the stories in the Bible and praying some of the stories over myself and the generations. Its powerful stuff. If God is a powerful God and His word is true, then my tongue really can bring forth life or death. I am very aware of that and God is teaching me more and more about it. I choose life for me and my family, and the generations. Do you have faith to alter and change the generations that will come forth from you? Just as Joeseph did I say yes to that, but it starts in a sort of prayer that speaks lfe and prphesies the fullness of God.

Playing Catch Up!
Well as most of you know life can get somewhat crazy! That is most definitely the case with me over here in NZ. I apologize for not giving updates! Some have received my email updates a bit ago but I apologize for not updating my blog. With the mix of conferences, meetings, the internship, family, friends, soccer and now work, life has been awesomely busy! Also our spotty internet here at the house has not helped either! Anyway, God is so good and faithful as always. In this blog post I want to just give you an update of what is happening, and what God has been teaching me as of late. Also I'll be posting again shortly about a few different encounters with heaven, and heavenly beings that have happened just in the last week or so! So stay posted for that update!
Anyway, just recently God has really been teaching me about fathering, through Jason, the other interns, and just by being in His presence. It is crazy to see, and realize that the root of so many problems in society come back to the lack of fathering. Its so apparent. Just by looking at the statistics for broken homes, you can see why so many kids do drugs, drink, smoke, give way too much to the opposite sex and really have a lack of direction. Often it stems from the lack of a strong father. Our God is the ultimate father and He is the perfect model to base how we father off of. If males understood and thought in a way, where they would one day shape the paradigms and perceptions of their natural kids and spiritual kids, males would act so much different. Why do you think the Bible has all the geneologys going back to Adam? Its because it's all about passing an inheritance, in the natural but also spiritually, from the father to the son. God is eternal. In other words He is outside of time. So are we. Our spirits are eternal, making them outside of time with God. Did you know youre an eternal being? Did you know God made you a spirit being with a soul and a body??? Haha that's another story. Anyway, God is eternal and outside of time. So He does not just see us when He looks at us. He sees us, but also the generations behind us, and in front of us. So if we are to have a mind like Christs, we should start seeing, and thinking how He does. That would mean we wouldn't be living our lives for ourselves, but instead for the generations. Through this revelation I have been changing the way I think. Especially when it comes to my own sin, but also the iniquities that are passed down through the generations. What am I doing now to help the generations that will come from me. Jesus died for our sins but also all our iniquities, which are sins that are literally passed down from father to son. So with this revelation I have been repenting and going through a process of asking for forgiveness for the iniquities in my family. Why you ask? So I don't pass it down to my kids. The Bible talks about working out your salvation with fear and trembling. A fear of God and a trembling, or shaking of the sin and things in your soul that are not of God. If I have a mind like Christs then I will think of my kids, and their kids. Did you know that everyone's deepest desire is to have the approval and affection of their natural father? It's because we literally come from that person. I am a part of my father. Yes I come from mom's womb, but that seed, which is now me, started in dad. It is amazing the shaping force a father can be. Look at David in the Bible. He left an incredible inheritance for Solomon. And what happened with Solomon? The inheritance was stepped into and it grew to a place where no one could compare their own with. You see the natural blessings, but you also see the spiritual blessing that was passed from David to Solomon. Solomon walked in wisdom that no other man had. And that wisdom produced billions of assets physically. How was Solomon able to come into all of that? Because David had passed along a generational blessing, but He had also literally prepared a way spiritually for his seed. He dealt with his heart and walked closely to the Lord.
This topic is so vital for not just the Christians but everyone. Honestly I am really excited to be a father. The revelation I have received from the Lord is awesome! It's vital. The best part is, I learn to be a father from spending time with the Father. It is amazing to sit in the presence of a Dad who's walls or guards are already down, where He is in a posture of vulnerability, ready for relationship, ready for intimacy and transparency. A Dad who wants to speak to us, give us advice, speak truth, one who is stern at the right times, but comes out of a place of love and not condemnation. A Dad who wants to hear our heart, allows His kids to share the cares they have, the worries they have, and ultimately a Dad who wants to just be in our presence more than anything. Did you know God longs our presence more than we long His presence? That's the kind of dad I want to be. He is the Father I want to mimic and gain understanding from. The awesome thing is the more we spend time in His presence the more we are changed into His likeness, the more we become who we really are. I could go on and on but I think you get the idea!
Anyway, blessings to everyone! I really miss everyone back home! Would love to hear from everyone. I hear its quite a mild summer over there! The winter here is mild. Just had a decent size snow which apparently is big for Chch! It was fun playing in snow in July!!! So yes! Bless you all! Would also appreciate any support you guys can offer. May 25, 2011 Warrior Spirit
WOW! God is so good. This last week and a half has been crazy. The moment of the year just keeps on snowballing! God is moving in me in crazy ways. I have been changed in ways that only by His grace and love can do. HE IS SO GOOD! I hope everyone is well. Its cool to hear from some of you in response to reading my blog. So please keep giving me feedback! I want to know what God is doing in you all and your lives. SO SHARE! :)
Its almost hard to write these blog posts because I have trouble figuring out where to start! As we continue to prepare for going to Egypt, God just keeps bringing up stuff in me and things just keep getting put into the light. This really is a time where I am being changed in my life style, mindsets and understanding. For example I am walking closer with God then ever before. I am just beginning to tap into what He has for me. I am walking with the Holy Spirit at a more consistent basis then ever before. The result is that God is downloading things to me. Its so crazy that if we "sacrifice" things of this world God truly gives us stuff that is true wealth. Things like wisdom, understanding and strength. He is also using me in crazy ways. This past friday I was asked by Jason to speak at our Reformation Meeting. It was not as daunting of a task as I would have normally thought. So began the preparation. God began to speak to me and give me scripture. To be honest it seemed like the Lord was giving me small pieces here and there, but I really hadnt put it all together until right before 7 PM on friday night when I began to speak. He is so good. He never puts us into situations where we cant come out triumphant. How cool is that? Its incredible how He is all knowing. Anyway throughout the preparation, the Lord gave me the subject, "The Warrior Spirit" mostly because he had been giving me a new perspective on the matter in my own life. Theres so much grace, power and authority when we share from what God is doing in our own lives. The power of a testimony is incredible. Plus it builds faith in those listening. So I was blessed to share from my own life, different stories from back home and from here in Christchurch. I will have a link for you all to listen to the message the Lord gave through me on friday night. I encourage you to hear it!!! Anyway I pray that message blesses you all in some way! I believe it will. Something you wont hear on the tape of the message is the ministry time that followed worship. I felt like the Lord wanted me to impart what I carried to everyone who wanted it. So I spent a couple hours praying for everyone up front. It was incredible what the Lord was doing. I was learning so much during that time. The Lord truly brought me to a new level of realization of power and authority that is within all of us who have Christ. It was amazing! I even cast our a few demons! I literally saw people change before my eyes. A guy I prayed for had the spirit of fear all over him. So I prayed against it and something lifted off his body. He coughed for a while and I knew his being was changed!!! It was awesome! God is so awesome! What a fun night.
Cool thing was a couple hours before the meeting I went to the mall with a buddy and saw several miracles including a salvation! My message actually has the stories in it so listen to it!!!
I just wanted to say thank you to those who read my blog, and those who pray for me. Also thank you thank you thank you to those who have given to me financially. Without your support I would not be able to be here and sow into what God is doing here and in me. I pray you are encouraged. I speak blessing over everyone who reads this. I pray wealth over you lives. Not only in the natural but also in true wealth. I call forth wisdom and accelerated understanding of God's heart. I pray you all will understand more and more your identity in Christ and come into the fullness of God. He has so much for you. You have destiny and a calling. Time to step into the things that God has for us, for they are far greater than anything we can imagine. AMEN! Be blessed. May 12, 2011-Preparations for Egypt
Hello all!
Im back with another update from being here in Christchurch, New Zealand! God has been so incredibly good. His love and grace have been all over this year so far.
Since Easter Camp and the events that happened around that time, I would think that there would be a time of rest or Selah, but God has been on the move and if you aren't aware or paying attention you'll miss what He is doing. In fact He is ALWAYS moving but it is a matter of partnering with Him. I have found myself being swept away by the river of glory that comes with pursuing the face of God. It is an indescribable feeling. I urge you to really press into the things of God. His ways are so much higher than ours. I don't know about you but I want new revelations of God, new wisdom, new strength, fresh oil, etc.
God has been taking me through a season of refining, of cleaning out my soul. I have been pressing into God and instead of suppressing the sin in my life, He is teaching me to bring ALL things into the light. For once you put sin into the light the hold it has on you, the power it once had is now taken away. He has been teaching me to be transparent so He can continually reveal Himself to me. Less is truly more. The more I let go of, the more I bring into the light, the more I am filled with the Lord. As I have been going through the revelation of bringing all my sin into the light, the Lord gave me a picture one day. I saw Jesus in a temple (representing my body, my soul, my spirit) and he was looking through a gallery of pictures. The temple was very bright and filled with a glorious natural light. I began to see the images and quickly recognized them. They were things within me. Good or bad. Jesus was looking through my life's "portfolio" so to speak. I realized that this image was a good depiction of how things really are. The Lord dwells within us, (our temple or body) and He sees everything. Many people, including myself for a time, are used to suppressing sin, and not bringing it into the light and dealing with it. I want Jesus to be able to dwell in my temple and be pleased at the gallery He sees. He is teaching me to be more and more transparent with Him, with the other interns and people around me. It truly is a new season that requires an adamant effort to reveal things we "hide" from God and others. I have been so blessed with the grace that comes with this process. I am so in love with Jesus and am so excited for what is next. Its incredible how exciting the Lord really is!!! Anyway I just felt like I was to share a bit of what God is doing in me! What season are you in? What is God speaking to you about? How is He talking to you? How can you make yourself more available to Him?
On July 4th, (less than a month from now) I will be going to Egypt with a team from Kingdom Reality Ministries. The trip is about $5,000 USD. Would you be willing to sow into this trip? First, the team and I could use prayer as we go through a very rigorous agenda of refining. We are fasting, and could use prayer for physical strength. Also pray we would be kept safe as we are there. Secondly, would you consider to sowing into me and the Egypt trip financially? I have two ways you can give monetarily. April 26, 2011 Easter Camp Edition
Well hello everyone!!!
I pray everyone is well! I must apologize because though I wrote a blog last week it somehow did NOT post :(. To make matters worse it didnt save either! Oh well, thats what you get sometimes with technology!
So this blog post is really special to me. I will be sharing about what God did this past Easter weekend. I was so honored and blessed to go to a huge youth event called Easter Camp over the last four days. I went with Northcity (the church Kingdom Reality Ministries is affiliated with) as a youth leader. The event had over 3,000 kids attending. I had seven freshman boys in my group, out of the 120 kids that Northcity brought. It was an incredible camp to say the least.
The first night there was so much hype, anticipation, and excitement, but the worship at the opening meeting was not the greatest. I could feel the spiritual battle going on for the kids attention. It was actually kind of crazy experience for me. With 3,000 kids that came from all kinds of walks of life the devil really tried to distract and take the attention of everyone that first night on Thursday. I walked away from that first night kind of disappointed, but felt fired up to contend for the Spirit of God to truly come and fall in that place. The enemy seemed to have won round one, but I knew God always has the last say.
The next day, Good Friday, we had all kinds of activities like bands, games, including a touch rugby tournament and just time to hangout after the morning meeting. I tried to branch out and meet as many kids as I could. I actually did a pretty decent job of remembering most of their names! It was a really fun day to just hangout, eat food, plus I learned how to play rugby! Friday night came pretty quick and it was once again time to go to the "Big Top", (what they called the HUGE tent that 3,500 people met in). Worship seemed to be a bit better and many Northcity leaders were right outside contending for the Spiritual atmosphere. Breakthrough had not quite come yet, but there was a spiritual climate shifting taking place. Friday night was so amazing because one of the kids in our group asked the Lord to come into his heart. I was the one who was blessed by leading him in the sinners prayer. It was so incredible to have him receive the Lord and in the presence of his friend who had brought him. God began to change Josh right there on the spot. You could see it in his countenance. Things began to lift in the spirit and I began to pray for bigger and greater breakthrough for the kids.
Saturday morning's six a.m. wake up came quite fast, but I was really excited to eat breakfast and go worship during the morning meeting. Worship that morning was much better and God was moving in a greater capacity. Kids were more free to raise their hands and sing to God. That day we had tons of fun. My relationship with my guys had really grown and we hung out most the day. Also I played in the soccer tournament that day, and Northcity won the tourny quite easily! Man I love sports :). Anyway that night as the leaders were praying for the meeting, I was feeling a lot of tension in the spirit and was really challenged to break through it. So as the sea of blue (the color everyone from Northcity was garbed in) crossed over to the Big Top, I began to pray and just speak life and activation of the Holy Spirit over the kids and the Big Top. Finally we experienced breakthrough. Worship was good and God was noticeably there. After worship, the speaker got up and began to share about the Holy Spirit. I guess this was pushing the envelope for Easter Camp. He pretty much showed the kids how to pray for your neighbor in a very simplified form. It was awesome the way he delivered his message. Then he simply prayed and sat in the presence of the Lord and waited to see what the Holy Spirit did. People began to get the joy of the Lord, and laugh. Other kids cried. Finally God's presence had fallen on 3,00 youth. Kids who barely knew the name Jesus. Now they were having a God encounter. The speaker then asked if anyone experienced the Holy Spirit, or wanted to accept Christ into their heart. So in front of a sea of youth someone from my group named Ben nudged me and asked me to stand with him. I looked at him and smiled. We were the first to stand in front of 3,000 kids, Ben's peers. I put my arm around him and stood up straight and as proud as I know how to stand. I felt that there was no shame over him. Only a hunger that can only be filled from the Living God. Once we were released to pray, we had all the guys from our group come and pray with us. Once again I was honored to pray a sinners prayer with Ben and God came into his life. When we asked if anyone else wanted prayer, a small quiet, Asian boy stepped up and wanted Jesus in his heart. My heart was leaping but I kept my composure as we prayed. Many others in our group experienced the Holy Spirit that night and literally could not explain in any way what they felt or what God had done. All they knew is they were some how changed. What a blessing that night was for me. I was, and still am humbled that God would put me in that situation. I was overwhelmed that night.
The following day we went through another similar routine. Breakfast, worship in the morning, games and hanging out during the day, and dinner before the night meeting. Northcity ended up winning the volleyball tournament! Haha it was so awesome! After spending a whole day hanging out with the kids from my group, I could sense the hunger they each had for the presence of God. Some previously knew God, others were literally new Christians. I was excited to see what God was going to do. Let me tell you, there is absolutely nothing like worshiping with kids who look up to you, some of them who don't have a father, some who don't have a good male influence in their lives at all. I really tried to reach out to the Lord and press into the presence of God. I really tried to model what it meant to worship. To be free. To be open to the Lord. To be with them while worshiping the God of the universe. It was an incredible time. The message Sunday night was awesome. The lady talked about living in the world and not being of it. After her talk I gathered the group of guys and just was blessed to pray for most of them. After we prayed I just felt like the Lord wanted me to challenge the kids. So I did. I challenged them to being guarded and protective of their mind, heart, soul, and spirit. I challenged them to be mindful of what movies they watch, what music they listen to, what they think, staying pure and leaning on God for strength. I talked about how a true man resists temptation and lives a holy, pure life unto the Lord, and how society has given us a false perception. I was very passionate about the subject and each one of the kids were attentive and were really taking in what I had to say. I talked I prayed and then hugged each one, speaking words of life over them and telling them I love them. What a blessing.
I really felt God's heart over the weekend and felt like I had been placed as a leader to really father the kids. I was so honored to teach them stuff all weekend. Everything from things about the Lord, to how to shoot a basketball, and how to work efficiently and effectively. Though I was there to bless the kids, I was the one who felt blessed beyond what I had perceived. Anyway friends, I challenge you all to be aware of the people around you. They may be more hungry for the Lord then you realize. A question never hurt anyone. So be bold and ask if you can stand in prayer with someone. Ask the Lord for guidance and words to be able to approach people. Also be careful and aware of what you feed your soul. Speak words of life and affirmation, for life and death is in the power of the tongue.

Hello everyone! So I am still in Spokane, WA and having a blast being home. I came home to support my parents who just got ordained!!! What an awesome blessing to see my parents being honored and put into an Associate Pastors position at The Rock of Ages Christian Fellowship. They have been incredible parents, and even better examples of how to love like Christ. They have ALWAYS supported me so it was only reasonable for me to fly across the world to be there for the ordination.
Outside of hanging with family and friends I have been working with one of my best friends Kyle Jordan, for his business called Kyle Jordan Lawncare. Its been awesome to hang out with him. He's such an awesome man of God, and I am grateful to even know him. If anyone needs lawn thatching, aerating, weekly mowing or odd jobs, you should definitely call Kyle at 509-413-7470. He's had his business for several years and has paid for school at Whitworth up through his junior year (his current year). Anyway, God has been sooo good in providing bits of work from Kyle, and the Lord has also begun to open more folks hearts to give into my internship in New Zealand. 32,000 dollars is a lot, but it's awesome how God is so much bigger than that.
Something the Lord has been teaching me is to not only lean ON God but to lean INTO God. He's been showing me to really push into Him, really to dwell with Him. We not only should be walking with the Holy Spirit within our daily life, by praying and talking to him, but also lift up words of praise and encouragement to Him and those we interact with. The spirit of God is so powerful. Kyle and I have been going out and sowing fliers for his business, and I have just been praying over the fliers. I prayed that God would bless Kyle and his business, that Gods spirit would be over the actual fliers so that they would be protected and that people would be attracted to them! It was sooo cool to hear the stories that Kyle told me of how people called right after we had put a flier at their house. Last saturday we went out for a couple hours on Five Mile and Kyle got 19 voice mails just from that day! This was all just more confirmation that as we trust in the Lord and really lean into Him, He will prosper us and give us an abundance! Remember where your money goes, is where your heart really is. SO GIVE! Give as the Lord leads you and He will give you an abundance in ways you never thought possible. I have been challenged in that area, and God has been faithful to give me way more I have sowed!

First New Zealand Update. Post Earthquake.
Hey everyone! So this is my first update and blog post! The internship here in NZ did not start out the way I was expecting! The cool thing is that God is in control and He knew exactly what He was putting me into. God has been so faithful in walking with me as I have been released to be His hands and feet. I have been humbled to be surrounded by the community of Northcity (the church we are partnered with), my fellow interns and the staff of Kingdom Reality Ministries. They have been a huge factor in my accelerated growth.
Its been only a month since I first touched down here in Christchurch, NZ. The journey began with hours of worship, personal devotions, taking care of our temples by working out, community and team building, and the Reformation Meetings we hold three times a week at Northcity. Our Schedule quickly shifted as Christchurch was hit by a 6.3 Earthquake. The city was shaken and a third of the city was destroyed. The name of the game for our team was to serve. Quickly we came up with a campaign that channeled through a website we created called http://www.weheartchristchurch.com/. Here we brought up awareness of what was happening in Christchurch on a daily basis and gave oppurtunity for folks to give financially. To date we have raised over 75,000 dollars. We have already given away 50,000 of it to a local church who's building was decimated. Though I helped with some of the video editing and production of footage we were getting daily, I was mostly serving on the streets. This included everything from shoveling liquefaction, handing out free food, giving money to those who lost their homes and cars, recording footage for our website, getting interviews with victims of the quake, praying for people and leading people to Christ. I cried, laughed and was changed in this process of being the hands and feet of Jesus. The devastation is great but Christchurch is rising up. The name of the city is prophetic. It WILL have an abundance. It WILL be rebuilt. It WILL thrive just as God wants His church to do.
